2011 Côtes-du-Rhône MAGNUM
Selected by Kermit Lynch
Few things look better on a dinner table than a big fat magnum of wine, especially within the festive, convivial atmosphere surrounding the holidays. Why have one bottle, when you could have two? No need to worry about low fills, and you can afford to give your guests some wine rather than keeping the whole bottle to yourself.
For anybody unfamiliar with the KL Côtes du Rhône, as we call it, this is a classic blend of primarily Grenache and Syrah that dependably delivers quality and satisfaction at great value. From fruit grown by a multitude of small farmers in the Avignon region, this red is then blended by Kermit before being bottled unfiltered and shipped to the States in refrigerated containers. The 2011 vintage features ripe blackberry aromas with hints of dried herbs and a sprinkle of pepper—loads of delicious and approachable flavor packed into a medium-bodied, versatile red. Take advantage of this magnum offer and be sure you and your guests never have an empty glass. –Anthony Lynch

2009 Châteauneuf-du-Pape “La Crau”
France | Southern Rhône
Perfect for those who enjoy delicacy and finesse in their Châteauneuf.

2021 Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise HALF BOTTLE
France | Southern Rhône
Leydiers at Domaine de Durban are particularly proud of their Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, a vin doux naturel, as they are among the last to craft it in the traditional style.

2023 Vacqueyras Rouge “Doucinello”
France | Southern Rhône
The flavors are mostly deep and dark—stones, licorice, black olive, and blackberry—but the frame is lithe.

2022 Tavel Rosé HALF BOTTLE
France | Southern Rhône
This dark, autumnal rosé is a beacon of tradition in a sea of paler styles.

2024 Vin de Pays de Vaucluse Rouge
France | Southern Rhône
Hailing from a parcel of co-planted vines adjacent to the family home, these varieties were planted together with the express purpose of making the house rouge, the everyday vibrant and juicy drink you’d bring to the table in a jug and drink out of a cup.

2023 Vin de Pays de Vaucluse Rouge “Le Pigeoulet”
France | Southern Rhône
This is about as quaffable as the region’s rouges get.

2023 Côtes du Rhône Rouge
France | Southern Rhône
A fresh, pure entry point to the Rhône’s great reds with aromas and flavors of black cherries, stones, and a hint of black olive.

2023 Beaumes-de-Venise Rouge
France | Southern Rhône
Grenache is joined by Syrah and a drop of Mourvèdre to create this delightful everyday red scented of herbes de Provence and ripe black cherry.

2024 Côtes du Rhône Villages Rouge
France | Southern Rhône
We aimed for maximum drinkability: plenty of hedonistic purple-tinged fruit, along with a hint of wild herbs and lovely lavender and violet notes.

2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape “La Crau”
France | Southern Rhône
The majesty of the La Crau vineyard is encapsulated in this wine. I can't think of a grander expression of Southern Rhone terroir.

You don’t have to be rich to cellar a great wine.
