Young vines in Mauves, short maceration, stainless-steel aged... but definitely no simple Syrah!

Hailing from a single vineyard high up on the hill above Saint-Désirat, at the middle point of the Saint-Joseph appellation, this cuvée dials up the fragrance and elegance of Monier-Pérreol’s Saint-Joseph.

Exuberant, dark-fruited aromatics melding with earthy undertones of bitter cacao. Delicious now, or mind-melting in ten years.

The roots of these vines run deep, and deep is what you get in the glass, too—a rich mix of black olive, fennel, and raspberry.

The greatest southern Saint-Josephs recall the wines of Hermitage, and the greatest northern examples resemble Côte-Rôtie. André’s are certainly among the finest, and always have great density despite their seeming weightlessness and elegant bouquet.

With a nose of gunflint and suave Marsanne fruit, it has length and finesse; extremely limited availability

Elegant blue and black fruit abound, but here it mingles with a hint of sanguinity and some dusty tannin.

A testament to Lionel’s house style, Les Ribaudes is vibrant and juicy with a hint of peppery spice, and earthy minerality imprinted by its granite terroir. Old-school Saint-Joseph at its finest.

With lovely notes of currant and violets, this bright, crunchy wine is irresistible in its youth. Serve cool with just about anything.

Delicate and perfumed, it speaks softly, yet it has so much to say: lilies, bacon fat, spices... it could only be Côte Rôtie.
