2015 Vin de Pays de Vaucluse “Le Pigeoulet” Rouge

Vignobles Brunier

2015 Vin de Pays de Vaucluse “Le Pigeoulet” Rouge Vignobles Brunier - Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant

I’m not sure how the Bruniers produce Grenache with simultaneous pleasure, depth, power, finesse, and drinkability, but Pigeoulet is a great case in point. You will not find a better pound-for-pound value anywhere in southern France. The Brunier hallmarks of restraint, class, and typicity are allt here in spades. In that way, their wines remind me of de Villaine’s wines in Burgundy. –Dixon Brooke
