2020 Chasselas
Albert Boxler
The Chasselas grape—a specialty of Switzerland, where it represents the most commonly planted white variety and is responsible for some truly spectacular wines—also has a small Alsatian stronghold, with roughly one hundred hectares to its name. Chez Boxler, it is fortunate enough to enjoy a privileged position on the granite slopes of Niedermorschwihr. Here, it becomes the reincarnation of a bubbling mountain spring, zipping across the palate with a refreshing tingle of spritz. Alsatian Chasselas—it’s shockingly thirst-quenching!

2019 Riesling Grand Cru “Sommerberg” Vendange Tardive
France | Alsace
Late-harvest wines of this quality in Alsace take incredible skill to make. This is a supremely beautiful example of a harmonious, highly successful partnership between man and nature.

Regal, opulent, and commanding—the finest perfumer in all of France couldn’t craft a more stunning scent.

France | Alsace
My favorite Riesling in the store, perhaps ever: zesty, minerally, intensely aromatic, and boundlessly deep!

2020 Pinot Gris Grand Cru “Florimont”

Everything that comes from Domaine Albert Boxler seems to have an extra dash of magic, and this debut bottling of Pinot Gris from the grand cru of Florimont is no exception.

2022 Riesling Grand Cru Sommerberg “Dudenstein”
France | Alsace
The Dudenstein bottling, produced only in great years, represents the pinnacle of Boxler’s wine-growing prowess.

2023 Edelzwicker Réserve
France | Alsace
Often featuring grand cru fruit, this bottling is arguably the ideal entry point to Boxler’s range of magnificent white wines.

2020 Pinot Blanc Réserve
France | Alsace
This Pinot Blanc is weightless, sultry, and lengthy as the day is long.

France | Alsace
With unrivaled versatility at table and guaranteed mouthwatering abilities, Sylvaner brings something new and fresh to the table.

2019 Pinot Gris Réserve
France | Alsace
Earthy Pinot Gris as dramatic and flinty as this, with a hint of residual sugar, demands an assertive pairing; try it with smoked sausage and mustard.

2022 Pinot Noir
France | Alsace
Very smooth, silky, and spicy, a wine obviously influenced by Boxler’s love for Burgundy.
About The Producer
Albert Boxler
Jean Boxler, currently rules the roost at this humble yet incredibly exciting domaine. Intense and serious about his land, his craft, and his wine, Jean is the genius behind what are certainly some of the finest white wines in Alsace (and the world). World War II brought Jean’s grandfather Albert back to Niedermorschwihr from Montana, where he was busy enjoying the natural gifts of big sky country. He became the first generation to bottle the family’s production himself and commercialize it under a family label. Tasting through the entire range of Boxler’s wines is ample proof of the fact that Alsace, along with Burgundy, is the source of the world’s most complex, exciting white wines, and will probably always be.
About The Region
Alsace
Tragically, Alsace might be the most misunderstood wine region of France. In spite of its long history of viticulture and tremendous diversity of pedigreed terroirs, a past fraught with marketing mishaps has left consumers baffled as to what exactly to expect inside one of these mysterious tall, thin bottles.
The good news, on the other hand, is that a new wave of quality-oriented growers is working hard to put Alsace in its rightful place as one of the world’s most fascinating sources of fine white wine. By embracing tradition, respecting terroir, and making a concerted effort to better communicate the countless virtues their wines have to offer, they have succeeded in putting Alsace back on the map.
Crafted from a number of grape varieties and beautifully interpreting the region’s mosaic of soil types, our Alsace imports are by and large dry whites offering exceptional versatility at table. While each of these selections is ready to be uncorked tonight, the finest among them are also capable of maturing for many, many years in a cool cellar. Expect kaleidoscopic aromatics, lively acidities, and loads of terroir transparency in these skillfully crafted masterpieces. Enjoy a foray into the thrilling world of the world’s most underrated wine region, and certainly do not hesitate to contact our sales staff with any questions as you take off on this mouth-watering adventure.

A good doctor prescribed the wine of Nuits-Saint-Georges to the Sun King, Louis XIV, when he suffered an unknown maladie. When the king’s health was restored the tasty remedy enjoyed a vogue at court. Lord, send me a doctor like that!

Promo Code Terms
There are two types of promo codes
1) a code that gives you a percentage off your order
2) a code that gives you a dollar amount off your order
How do promo codes or coupon codes work?
When you place an order with a percentage coupon code, the discount only applies to discount eligible items. An eligible item typically is a product that does not already have a discount. Sampler packs that already have discounts applied to them do not count towards the minimum of 12 eligible items. In your shopping cart, you'll see percentage discounts next to each bottle.
When you place an order with a dollar amount code, the dollar amount is added to your discount. In your shopping cart, the dollar amount is subtracted from your total, and does not show next to each bottle.
