In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, I created this mosaic by cutting two images of a wine barrel into strips–one vertically and the other horizontally–and then wove them together. I then printed small, square images from my archives of winemakers and places I have visited and photographed on the wine route since 1983. I tucked these photos from my adventures into every other square and finished the piece with a border of grapes.
