2001 Barolo “Vigne Vecchie”
6-Bottle Pack
The Fantino holdings in the steep Bussia vineyard of Monforte are crucial to this endeavor. They sustainably work old vines in the small Dardi sub-section, a perfectly exposed plot that gives rich, structured Barolo as good young as it is old. The traditionalist ways in the cellar, with spontaneous fermentations and an eschewal of new oak, only serve to highlight the impeccably farmed fruit from this time-tested site.
We are thrilled to present this special offer of the 2001 Fantino Barolo, in the heart of its peak drinking window. Alessandro lauds the vintage for the elegant, feminine wines it yielded. Full-bodied yet delicate in aroma and texture, it is loaded with savory, spicy, earthy aromas that could only come from the King of Wines. Perfectly mature, this Barolo is ready to be uncorked tonight and fully capable of taking a holiday feast to the next level. Hats off to Sandro and Gianni! –Anthony Lynch

Who could resist such a heavenly ambrosia, with its scent spring wildflowers, citrus blossoms, and succulently ripe grapes?
2023 Valli Ossolane Nebbiolo Superiore “Prünent Vigna Fornace”
Italy | Piedmont
A total knock-out, this bottling shows plenty of age-worthy structure, density, and ripe notes of cherry, plum, and leather.
2024 Langhe Nebbiolo
Italy | Piedmont
There’s no mistaking this red for anything other than Nebbiolo—perfectly ripe fruit and the telltale scents of tar and roses.
2017 Laboro Disobedient
Italy | Piedmont
Made from Riserva-quality Barolo Nebbiolo, it’s a throwback to the Baroli of yesteryear, profound and stately.

Each refreshing sip goes down lighter than air, keeping your palate clean and refreshed for whatever comes next.
2025 Vino Bianco

2024 Vino Rosso

The wines Marco produces, albeit gentle on your wallet, are anything but slight: they capture the beauty and diversity of Piedmont’s local grape varieties, and the earthy character of its undulating hillsides.
2022 Barolo “Marassio”
Italy | Piedmont
Unusual for La Morra, the soil here is rich in limestone with veins of chalk, giving Giulia’s most dense, profound, earth- and mineral-driven Barolo.
2024 Langhe Pinot Nero “Arneg”
Italy | Piedmont
Distinctly Piemontese with a nose of fallen leaves, earth-tinged bright red fruit, and a tar-like mineral streak, this delicate Pinot Nero offers a transparent expression of its place of origin.
About The Region
Piedmont
Kermit’s love affair with the great reds of Piemonte dates back to the early days of his career: the very first container he imported from Italy, in fact, featured legendary 1971 and 1974 Barolos from Vietti and Aldo Conterno. Regular visits since then have seen our portfolio grow to now twelve Piemontesi estates, with a strong focus on the rolling hills of the Langhe.
Nebbiolo rules these majestic, vine-covered marl slopes, giving Italy’s most mystifyingly complex, nuanced, and age-worthy reds. When crafted via traditional production methods—long macerations and extensive aging in enormous oak botti—the powerful, yet incredibly refined Barolos and Barbarescos provide haunting aromatics of tar, raspberry, incense, tea, roses, and more. At times austere in their youth but well worth the wait, they pair beautifully with the hearty local cuisine starring veal in many forms, braised beef, pastas like tajarin and agnolotti, and of course, Alba’s famous white truffles.
Surrounded by mountains on three sides, Piemonte’s climate is continental, with baking hot summers and cold winters. Nebbiolo is only part of the story here: juicy, fruity Barberas and Dolcettos represent the bread and butter throughout the region, and other native grapes like Freisa, Croatina, and the white Arneis are also noteworthy. Value abounds in the Monferrato, while Alto Piemonte also has its share of thrills to provide.
Every corner of Piemonte is rich with tradition, especially when wine is concerned. It’s no wonder we have been singing the region’s praises for over forty years.

Let the brett nerds retire into protective bubbles, and whenever they thirst for wine it can be passed in to them through a sterile filter. Those of us on the outside can continue to enjoy complex, natural, living wines.
