Fresh and silky-fine, wild, and spiced, this stunner demands something equally characterful, like a lamb tagine or perfectly ripe Époisses.

A Chardonnay made with regular topping-off of the barrels, to avoid any oxidation, this delivers an exotic nose of candied lemon and spices, focused acidity and a sensation of beeswax and nuts on the palate.

A transformative process must have been at work here, with the dynamic freshness of the ouillé, or topped-up style, yet it still displays hints of caramelization and golden savoriness.

A perfect treat when you want an ounce or two of something special. Macvin is a local tradition in the Jura that can serve as both an aperitif or a digestif. It has a golden, nutty quality from the marc (essentially grappa) that's mixed with a pure and concentrated grape must. Redolent of candied fruits, and sweet citrus, this is a nectar unlike anything we import.
